Dr. Amy Johnson

Dr. Johnson is a resident of JP and recognized the need for a neighborhood
animal care facility. Since 1998, she has worked in both private and non-profit
sectors. She has special interests in preventative medicine, pain management,
the human-animal bond and companion animal overpopulation. She shares
her life with two dogs and two cats, all rescued from shelters.
Jacki
Ryder; CVT, Practice Manager
Jacki has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 7 years and holds
an advanced dentistry certification since 2002. She has worked in private
and university practices. Her main areas of interest include: dentistry,
nursing care of exotic species,and Emergency and Critical Care. 2 parrots,
1 bunny, and her wonderful kitty, Bruce, allow her to live in their home.
Denise
Murphy; Office Manager
Denise began her career in animal shelter management and has been a technician
since 2001. She has special interests in feline medicine and behavior,
puppy training and companion animal overpopulation. She shares her life
with too many cats and one dog.
Alana
Johnstone; Receptionist, Veterinary Asst.
Alana is a JP resident originally from Rochester, NY. Alana studied Human
Services and was headed into Social Work. However after adopting Abby,
a 6-year-old dog, she realized she wanted to work with animals. She loves
connecting with the people and pets of this wonderful community.
Molly
Carrier; Receptionist, Veterinary Asst.
Molly is a JP resident with special interests in nutrition, holistic pet
care and preventative medicine. She is pursuing an education in animal
science. Molly has two sweet shelter dogs, Dolby and Freya.
